If your child has a disability or a chronic illness, your journey may feel like the road less traveled. You probably have interactions with many different professionals and specialists. You need information, assistance, understanding, and support. We are here to treat and help in any way that we can.
Our pediatricians are trained in the diagnosis and management of childhood asthma and allergies.
If you are concerned about anxiety and or depression in your child please come into our office and pick up the appropriate forms. The forms need to be completed and brought back to the office. We will schedule an evaluation for your child when you drop off the completed froms.
Our physicians are trained in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD.
If you are concerned that your child may have ADHD please go to the forms tab to download and print the Vanderbilt initial forms for parents and teachers, or come into our office and pick them up. After the forms are completed by all parties bring them to our office. One of our physicians will review the forms to determine if you need an appointment and a staff member will call you with their determination.
We also continue to manage your child's medication after the initial diagnosis has been made.
Our physicians perform gynecological care including birth control prescriptions.
PIAA requires a current yearly physical. Your child will obtain the form from the school and the entire packet should be brought to our office at the time of the appointment. Please complete your part of the form before bringing it to the office.
If your child's physical is up to date you may bring the packet to our office to be completed by the physician for a $10 fee.
We require 24 to 48 hours to complete the form.
If your child is not due for a well visit we can schedule just a sports check up. The fee for this is $50.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation requires that your child has a check up with in 6 months of turning 16. Please call our office and we will schedule the appointment for you as soon as possible.
If your child's physical is within the 6 month window you may bring the packet to our office to be completed by the physician for a $10 fee.
We require 24 to 48 hours to complete the form.
If your child is not due for a check up we can schedule just a driver's check. The fee for that is $50.
We request that you call our office or send a request through the patient portal for any prescription refill needs you may have.
We work hard to send refills as soon as possible, however, we do require a 72 hour notice.
Children may experience a range of medical conditions that could benefit from the expertise of a pediatric specialist in a particular field. We emphasize the coordination of all healthcare providers involved in a child's treatment and request that you are seen in our office before a referral is sent.
Breastfeeding provides essential nutrition for infants birth to one year and older. As with learning anything new, most breastfeeding mothers and babies (and dads too!) need some instruction and support during this learning period.
